Lakewater Level 1 is designed to perfect tandem and solo paddling skills. It takes you beyond the basics and into “style paddling”. Recommend for those who
want to eventually become instructors or those who are looking to bring their canoeing skills to a higher level.
Lakewater Level 1A is tandem and Level 1B is solo canoeing. Typically Level 1A is taught on the
Saturday and Level 1B is taught on Sunday.
PREREQUISITES ORCA Flatwater Level, equivalent experience, or compatible skills and experience (with permission of the Course Director)
Dates: May 10-11, 2008 - Earl Rowe Provincial Park, near Alliston Ontario
Times: 8:30am-4:30pm daily

Cost: $115 (plus 5% GST) Level 1A tandem $135 (plus 5% GST) Level 1B solo $235 (plus 5% GST) Level 1AB tandem and solo

Physical Difficulty: Long days in the canoe. Participant must be comfortable in water with lifejacket.
