ORCA Moving Water Level 1

ORCKA Moving Water Level 1 provides an introduction to white water paddling for those with little or no experience in white water. Emphasis is on tandem canoeing skills, understanding white water principles and safety. Participants receive ORCKA Moving Water Level 1A or 1B certificate. Moving Water is broken into two separate 2 day courses 1A (Tandem) and 1B (solo).

Prerequisites:
ORCKA Flatwater Level, equivalent certification or comparable skills and experience (with permission of the Course Director)

Times: 8:30am-4:30pm daily

Cost:
$235 (plus 5% GST) 1A Tandem.
$235 (plus 5% GST) 1B Solo
Camp fees extra (approximately $15 per night per tent)

Physical Difficulty:
Some fitness required. Participant must be comfortable in water with lifejacket.
