ORCKA Canoe Tripping Level 1 combined with Flatwater A

ORCKA Canoe Tripping Level 1 provides an introduction to canoe tripping for those with little or no tripping experience. Emphasis is on wilderness skills and safety. Participants plan their own overnight canoe trip. This is a great course for the first time canoeist or those wishing to enhance their wilderness skills. This course covers the theory and practical aspects of Canoe Tripping over a 3 day (2 night) canoe trip. In addition to the Canoe Tripping 1 course candidates review or learn basic canoe skills through the ORCKA Flatwater A program. Upon successful completion candidates will be awarded the ORCKA Canoe Tripping Level 1 and Flatwater A certificate.


Note: If you already have your Flatwater A certificate you are welcome to take the Flatwater course as a review. The price and dates remain the same.


THIS COURSE ALWAYS FILLS UP - REGISTER EARLY!

Prerequisites:
There are no prerequisites for this course because we cover both Tripping 1 and Flatwater level.

Physical Difficulty:
Some portages and carrying of equipment. Participant must be comfortable in water with lifejacket.
